A storm came through here last night, dropped 3 inches of rain, lightning hit a power station and caught it on fire, an left us without power till around 1 am!

Few small things taken care of... fixed an oil leak at the hpop gear inspection plate, replaced with dieselsite plate and o-ring, leak fixed.

Got the first test plate for the intake plenum and mocked it up on my spare engine on the stand. Looks like it should work perfect with the stock OBS/E99 turbo (which Is a damn tight fit!!!), stay tuned for how we finish it off.

I got the revised front coil buckets installed so the truck sits level with just a 2" block. Roughly 3-4" of bump travel still.

Also made my flatbed extension again, this one geared towards being lighter, stronger, easier to install by myself, and look better. Nailed it across the board I think. Its 3 seperate pieces, 2 sides and 1 tube in the middle. The 1700lbs 4 Seat RZR fits like a glove, doesnt bow, bend, or anything while it's up there, and with 60psi in the bags, the truck sits level. I'm leaving for a day trip tomorrow, so wish me luck! View attachment 201869

Giving more and more thought to the Dually rearend, if anyone has a Dana 80 rear end out of a 99+ in good shape (and preferably 4.30 gears) that wants to trade for my 02 10.5 w/ truss and all new parts, I'd be interested.

Hmmm... I don't think Dana 80s really showed up in F350s till the 6.4s. They were in the F450s and some E350s (the minibus ones). I'll be interested to see what you come up with Lt.Dan. Looks like a nice trailer.

How many slides?
Thanks! Its got 3 slides, and totals almost 44'. Dry weight is 13.5k, so it'll be interested towing it loaded with the RZR.....

Really? I thought all dually f350s were Dana 80s? They made a sterling 10.5 in a DRW?

I mean, I still have that Dana 80 with 4.30s...Only thing is I don't know the exact mileage, and I have no way of getting it out of the bed of my truck. Also don't want to swap it with a different axle...

Just an fyi. A cab and chassis rear end is narrower than a f350 rear end. So depending on which one you get the fenders might not be the correct size. Also the 99-04 axles are 8x170. The newer ones are 8x200.
