Okay, here's one for you. Do you think if I got the oil line, built a bracket & had some tubing made up I could use the turbo off of an 94-99 Powerstroke?
I'd like the one from Hypermax but I know it's alot easier to find a Powerstroke turbo. I know someone else has thought of this too.

What if I use about 5 tubes of JB Weld on the head gasket (******* head studs) & regulate the boost to 15lbs?:D

Not sure about doing business with them, but DPS sells head studs for the 7.3L IDI now. They are asking $675 or so. Not sure how much good they would do but I want some!

If you were to shave your pistons down it would work

I know it was off of a larger CAT with twins. The rocker arm fell & took out the smaller turbo. The big one was just fine. So do you have twins or are you wishing that you do my friend?

I want to swap my stock turbo to a bigger newer one. Mine is fine but I only make about 18psi boost ... but that is another story. I am getting this thing in the shop it needs pump work real bad hell even with a plug in the aneroid valve it does not make any heat on a 7% grade. If I get the pump fixxed(oil leaks and delivery valves need to be set up right) it should make someheat then.
