I am in the process of swapping out my stock Ford rotors and pads for the Cryo Stop Powerslot rotors and Hawk pads. I'm running 16X8" wheels with 37" X-Terrain tires. I do get a bit of brake fade right now if I really hammer on the brakes quickly.

The question is how much difference should I expect with swapping the rotors and pads versus swapping calipers as well? Should I see a pretty decent performance difference overall with the Cryo Stop Powerslots? Thanks in advance for any info.

I'm not sure if they stop quicker or faster (I've never seen any empirical data) but I can tell you they hold up well to emergency braking while towing a 9000lb+ travel trailer.

mine stop better than the OEM brakes, but we're talking about 80k mile stock vs. brand new hawks/cryo powerslots...

mine haven't faded or pulsed or anything abnormal even towing my 8k TT...

Stop a lot better... almost no fade at all after 4-5 100mph-30mph decel's in a row last weekend and they've been on for about 10,000 miles. Also, no vibration when stopping and the pads/rotors looks perfect.
