hey guys,

Can you powder coat the compressor housing to the turbo? Not the exhaust housing.

Powder coating will turn crispy if you bake it to long or at a lil higher than it's cure temp. (My basis for this is cheap harbor freight powder, so take it for what it's worth.) I would think that it would be to much heat at the turbo.

Compressor housing shouldnt get hot enough to bother the paint. I've personally spray painted a few turbos compressor housings, and it has held up for years with no chips or anything

There's a company that use some kind of process to put a design on the turbo compressor housing but I don't recall the name. Liked the camo example they had.

hydro coating?

I painted my turbo compressor cat yellow and had turbine ceramic black.
only been a few months but yellow stilllooks perfect, not so much the black IMO
