Bought some chrome 20's that are trashed, used a dry piece of paper towel to rub on them in various spots. Didn't do too bad, I think they can be saved.

Whats the best way to bring these back to life? I'll take before and afters. LOL

I'm thinking about going and buying the mothers polishing ball, and giving that a go. But, what polish should I use? I don't want to ruin them any more than they are. LOL

Any help would be appreciated. My other cars, I'd just use a spray, and tire brush, and call it a day, but then again, I washed it regularly.

So last night when I unloaded the rims & tires and stacked them in the garage, I decided to look at the tire size, to look for replacements. (Tires were shot, so it wasn't a concern) Tire size was 325/50/22's.

So I got 22's instead of 20's. Didn't want that big, but hey, since I have em. LOL

Personally I like the eagle one dry polish. It comes in a little can and has cotton wads in it tear some off and start rubbing. That's my opinion. Hope it may help.

Thanks. I use the eagle one spray, and it works well. I'll give that a try this weekend.

I've used the mothers mag and aluminum polish with the powerball. Works great. If I'm lazy I just rub some carnauba wax on the wheels. Provides a nice protective barrier and makes 'em gleam.

Check out caswellplating.com, a felt bob on a drill would work wonders with some blue rouge. They have everyting you need. And they ship fast. Just go to the finishing forum and post a question. Some of the best metal finishers on the planet lurk there.
