We had a baby boy April 26. We have had him checked a couple times because he poops constantly and yesterday received the news that his blood work shows he might have Cystic Fybrosis. He is on his way right now for a sweat test to find out for sure. We do know that my wife is a carrier and we have a niece that has it so unfortunately we already know more about it than we ever wanted to. Like I said we don`t know anything for sure other than his blood work has come back bad twice already so we are pretty shook up and very nervous. Just please remember him in your prayers. His name is Andrew. We will not get the results until next week so it is going to be a really long weekend and he (along with the rest of us) would appreciate any and all prayers.

Thanks everyone. It`s hard for me to find much good in anything right now but at 10.30 this morning we were told we could not get in to see a specialist for 2 weeks. Just received word that they can get him in today so he is on his way right now. Thank you again, just the possibility has brought me to my knees. I usually don`t post any personal business but this site has got to be the best group of people I`ve ever seen banded together and my family appreciates your prayers and concerns more than you will ever know. So once again thank you guys so much.

I will be praying for little Andrew. And you and your wife.
Children are the best gifts on earth;)

Remember this.. God never asks us to deal with anything that we and him can not do together.

Prayers sent. Just remember God won't give you more than you can handle.
:whs: Keep in there, you will come out ok, My family was once told that they didn't know if I could walk, talk, think for myself, or be self supporting again, but here I am probably 98% of what I once was. No matter how bad the diagnosis is, doesn't mean that is the way it has to play out, keep your head up and keep fighting, you might be surprised of the final out come. Good luck.
