New motor is the last pic, its a DI short block with Forged Rods... No more PMR's in my rig!

Oh yeah, he just pulled that piston out scuffed up the wall a little and threw a .020 over piston back inoke:

so what caused the melted piston? a bad injector?

I think he had an injector o-ring fail and push fuel into the cyl.

Yep J-B could have fixed it right up. Wasted money on a new short block. J/K, Looks awesome. After. Before looks really ugly.

How could a blown o-ring push fuel past the brass washer that seals out cylinder pressure? I have heard people say this before but I don't see how it is remotely possible that 70 psi fuel can push past that washer. Anybody have any info to help me comprehend that?

By the way that piston don't look goo but that shiny new short block does!
