The fuel cooler pump is not usually unplugged while doing a cab-off. But the coolant is drained, that's why I asked what I did. And I only want to help Tyler.
Yeah and im sure you are on to something. Is there a way to test the pump to make sure its working right? I had the coolant out of mine but i couldnt ever really tell if it was working or not, never got a code or anything, and the fuel temps seem to be normal.
The pump is located on lower fan shroud, driver side. You could unplug the harness and shoot power to it to make sure it works, but it's a PITA to get to.
Hello guys I've got the 08 F350 6.4 and I'm having the same code pop up on my truck and my system was full of coolant and my pump was plugged up anybody got any suggestions I mean about the only thing that it could be is what maybe the pump burn up and it's showing an open circuit
And I've got one more question I bought one of those DPF - r 4.0 tuners EGR and DPF delete on my truck and the truck keeps throwing the codes saying that the EGR system is got to open circuit and it's saying that the exhaust gas temperature sensor is not reading right and I thought that tuner was supposed to delete those systems from the stop computer in the truck has anyone else had these problems
Throw that DPF r into the garbage and get a tuner.
