I think that I now have the only OBS PSD in the country running the new TN BB SD turbo. Thus far I like it. I got the 1.0 housing and it spools up just as good as the smaller stocker with the 1.0 housing on it maybe better. It has quite a bit of the BB zing sound to it. Truck feels stronger on top. Peak boost numbers are about where the stock turbo was. I had the truck empty up in the mountains today to maybe 8000ft on some 6 and 7% grades and the turbo seemed to have very good manners even with the motor lugged down in the constructions zones. I hope to sneak in a trip to the track the week to test it compared to the stocker I ran a few weeks ago. I took lots of pictures and have part numbers for an article when I can sit down and get it done.

Sounds great, looking forward to your write up. Did you get any video of it yet? BTW didn't you use the BWD up pipes? If you did how was clearance issues were there any?

Clearance issues were not fun but I think my truck is as tight as they come to the firewall. A normal 3" downpipe has no room to spare on mine. I got the motor and tranny slid forward some which helped. I am not sure if those bellowed up pipes hug the block as close as a the normal pieces. I had to put a flat spot on both of them to make it work in my truck. Nothing hits even at WOT so I think I am good to go.

Did you have to do some clearancing between the turbo and the firewall?

I am wanting to get a turbo soon. The only thing holding me back is figuring out what I want and how to pay for it.

Firewall had to be moved up and back right at the transition from verticle to downward for the tunnel. BFH and a small bottle jack did the work there. Kip I was not choosen I just managed to call asap when it was announced that they had some completed. Hopefully they will get some more done soon.

Hey Tom looks good welcome to the OBS/TN club other than mine isnt the BB. I wonder who else has a TN in there OBS or are we the only two? I might be switching turbos this winter or early spring. Me thinks i need some more air for these hybrids and defenitly some head studs this winter as well.
