Okay enough...:blah:

I think you will all find this amuseing, I don't want to give away our secret of the 2 stroke oil. I love the guys running old motor oil in the fuel.

Veggie oil, peanut oil, even new motor oil or tranny fluid I can understand. I don't think I am pouring any used motor oil in my tank.

Some of the Big Rigs have setups that take a small percentage of the engine oil and pump it into the fuel tank to be burned. They have a new oil tank that pumps new oil to the crank case. This system is us to extend oil change intervals.

Kinda stupid to run used oil in your fuel. Geez used oil is full of crap you did not want in your engine and now you want to run it thru your fuel system ....:confused:

I've run trans fluid and it did nothing, plus its not really ment to be burned, used oil is interesting. I would make something that you could run it through to clean it up, but even then I believe your asking for problems with the fuel system.I know a guy with a old Pete has a 350 big cam cummins in it , he said he dumps a half gallon in each tank after he fills up. I asked him how in the hell he can aford to fill up too 150 gallon tanks, got a funny look, lol

Leave it to Cummins to come up with an idea like that...
I think my IDI would run it alot easier than a Powerstroke though.

You can run whatever engine oil, trans fluid, peanut oil, veg oil, you want in the old idi and it will take it. It just has to be thin enough to pump up to the injection pump without starving it. The PSD is a different animal though, but i have ran 50% veg oil in the tanks when i towed my bronco out west this year. I just ran both tanks empty before i stopped and filled them both back up with diesel.

I have run used filtered trans and a small amount of engine oil for over 15000 miles with no ill effects. The smoke setting works much better though. Black and thick as hell.

The used oil would work good in an old IDI or anything with mech injection. I know alot of companys that mix it for there old equiptment that does not like the usld. Thay do however have huge filter systems on those.
