....what do we need to look at as far as replacing if it hasn't already been done on a 2003 Excursion with 81K on her. I know the exhaust will be done and the intake, but I am talking about major TSB's and such.

Diane just send me the truck(ok it's an suv) and you won't have to worry about any of that replacement issue. :poke: Wish my spouse could drive large vehicles I want an "X" it is the perfect "family" car esp. if it is modded.

I have had all sizes of vehicles. I feel the safest in a big ole truck. It's not the easiest to drive to hotlanta traffic, but I would not be in anything else down there.

Ball joints are the only major thing that comes to mind. Normally see them at 60-70k.

Brakes- had a customer come in for a fuel issue and I was under her truck replacing the fuel pump and looked at the rear rotors and I could see the fan part of the rotor was showing on one of the rears.

If you only had the tractor maybe. We could park you up in the culdesac. :D If you had the trailer too, well we would most likely get a call from the president of the HOA here. :poke:

Yeah I have a 48ft. step deck spread axle trailer so corners are sometimes hard to go around esp. if people crowed you. I have had the people in my Moms neigborhood call the cops on me I just leave a note in the window just in case so I can atleast move it or leave in leiu of getting towed.

I called my Ford Dealer on that & they told me that only applied to gassers. He said the Diesels use a diffrent system & there is nothing to worry about. I checked on a 2000 F250 Superduty too, not my IDI in case you were wondering.:poke:

Diane-I'd say the usual stuff like ball joints, tie rods, shocks, u-joints, hubs & inner front axle parts & from what I hear transmissions don't like alot of power & abuse thrown at em. But we all know that you two leave that thing in "valet mode"...right?;)
