I have a bad leak where the stick goes in to the oil pan i have tried to tighten it up and it is still leaking bad i am on the road and need some ideas on how to get it to stop is there a trick thanks.

being on the road I'd say clean the area with brake clean, then goob it up with rtv. You don't want to mess with loosening up the nut on the road- you can drop the back side into the oil pan then you'll be down for sure

so i am going to have to drop the oil pan to fix it the right way?

Nope, there are write ups on how to do this and it seems like it has been done many times with success. But it is delicate and I don't think I would want to screw with it while on the road. I too would try to just slow it down and get home.

thank you i will. i put some rtv around it after i cleaned it real good but i did not stop it it gust slowed it a little still dripping pretty good i am home know so hope i can get it fixed today.
