Just wondering what guys are seeing for oil consumption. I know a lot of guys say they have none but there has to be some, every engine uses some oil. I'm curious to see if I'm using a normal amount or excessive. DPF off of course.Thanks.

Ya neither do my other 6.4's stock, but that's because of fuel getting in the oil with regens and what not.

According to Blackstone Labs, I have Zero Fuel in my oil samples. So that kills that theory.

mine uses 0 oil too.
just went 6400 miles on a change, and poured the oil into the jugs it originally came out of, and Blackstone said there was only a TR (trace) of fuel in oil sample i sent in....so less than .1% i assume.

mine never seems to move off the dip stick, i have never poored it back into the jugs to find out, i would bet in a 5000 mile oil change it uses a quart of oil.
