Can someone explain nozzle sizes like what percent values mean. Let's have a class who's going to teach.

say you have a 100% nozzle, i dont recall stock nozzle size but say its 16, so that 100% nozzle would be a 32 because its 100% over stock, 80% would be 28.8 etc etc.

Keep in mind the nozzles rated in a % are precent FLOW over stock, not percent larger HOLES over stock.

Stock nozzles have about .006" holes.
80% over have about .008" holes.
100% over same .008" holes with some other work.
200% over about .012" holes.
400% over about .014" holes, etc.

Don't forget the area of a circle goes up by radius squared, so you get a lot more area (flow) with little increase in hole size.
