Can someone explain nozzle sizes like what percent values mean. Let's have a class who's going to teach.
i think its half and halfactually 99% of stage 2's that I have seen and read about are 160cc with an 80% nozzle.
dang that is right thanks jim, sorry OP.Keep in mind the nozzles rated in a % are precent FLOW over stock, not percent larger HOLES over stock.
Stock nozzles have about .006" holes.
80% over have about .008" holes.
100% over same .008" holes with some other work.
200% over about .012" holes.
400% over about .014" holes, etc.
Don't forget the area of a circle goes up by radius squared, so you get a lot more area (flow) with little increase in hole size.
