2001 F-350 7.3 PSD..

It takes a while to crank but the main problem is that it has really low power intermittently. Especially after it is first started up. It will barely take off under its own power when i have a trailer hooked up(6000 LB). Here is a video of the trucks torque app going from idle to attempting to drive.......

Sometimes it will have no power and i can turn the truck off and re start and it will go back to normal. The only applicable code that i am pulling is P1316.


I replaced the cps, icp, injector o-rings, injector cups, and uvch to no effect.


I bought an obd2 usb adapter to buzz test my truck but apparently i got one with a cloned chip and it wont work with forscan and my carguage pro buzz test wont work with my bluetooth dongle either.

If anyone has any ideas about what to try next. i would appreciate it greatly.

Can’t read exactly what’s what but you have misfiring

1.bad injectors
2.loose valve cover harness

Check those

im ordering an obd2 that will actually work this time so i can buzz test. Dont know if its relevant or not but when it first starts up there is ALOT of white smoke and it goes away pretty fast.

I Just changed one of the harnesses out but i will defenitely check the other bank as well.

Finally got Forscan to work properly....Ended up with
p0261 and P1271 after buzz test..

Cylinder Contribution Test gave me
P0263
P0269
P0275
P0281

Pretty much codes for Cyl 1,3,5,7
Ijust put a brand new Delphi harness on that bank so im hoping its not the harness. I just took all of the injectors out for new o-rings. So i dont know if its something i could have done by mistake?

Any advice would be appreciated
