AFE Stage II PG-7 is the intake I would go with. From there it just depends on what your looking for out of your truck. Have you thought about doing some custom tunes from Innovative?

 

Well at first all I was looking for when I done the deletes and sct was just sound and smoke (haha yeah retarded I know) but I after I got a taste of the power, I want more, but not off the chart numbers... another question, I see cobbs on your sig, I drove down (6.5 hours) they done the work on my truck, great place and good dudes, I will be doin biz with them

 

Yep, they sure are. John and I are good friends. I would try out some Innovative custom tunes and then go from there.

 

yea shoot eric a email for some tunes you may want to wait i know he is working on a bigger tune i have his tunes on my truck and it runs like a raped ape

 

I suggest going with an S&B intake first and foremost, then calling Eric for some tunes. Last I talked to him, they werent quite ready yet. Spartan is another option, but quite a bit more money than what you already have. If theres anything I can help with, dont hesitate to ask.

the downpipe is a good add on to keep the EGT's down and also some egr delete plates!

 

If he not looking for crazy power, ie race tunes would he need the egr delete plates. don't the 210 and down tunes leave the egr enabled??

 

another question, as stated I'm not wanting crazy power, but how much can the stock trans take?

 

With GOOD custom tunes it should handle 600HP regularly and live a pretty happy life, without custom tunes it could be as low aas 400 hp that might kill the trans, its all about TOOONNNING. I have sprayed mine a couple times 650 hp or so, and it seams to be fine, but it defintaly wont live forever like that.

 

Ok, I feel like a retard, so correct me if I'm wrong here.... But are you saying a bigger custom tune would be easier on my tranny than say the extreme tune thats preloaded on the SCT?

 

Yes, because the custom tranny tuning provided by Eric at Innovative is superior to the tranny tuning that comes with the Livewire
