Hey everyone. I have a 2006 F250 6.0 that has the hot no start problem. I've been all through this truck and cannot get it fixed. I've put in the updated STC fitting, new stand up pipes and dummy plugs with the Teflon ring on them, new IPR valve, new ICP sensor, pulled the high pressure oil rails and put new orings in them, replaced injector #1 for a misfire, injector #2 I have but have not replaced yet, it has a misfire too. I will swap it tomorrow.
I use the 5W-40 full synthetic oil and Ford motorcraft filters. I have the Scanguage II and the ICP pressure when truck is hot will only get to about 300 PSI when I restart it.
The HPOP will get to between 2500 and 3000 psi when running so I am pretty sure it is good.
When I tried to start it hot tonight I did notice that the oil gauge on the dash showed pressure which should mean I have LPOP pressure.
I am one step away from sending my truck to the dealership. But I really don't want to.
I'm hoping I have missed something that someone can help me with.
