Just stepped up to my first diesel last week. Always been a Ford truck man, but had a F150 for the last 10 years. Getting a bigger trailer to haul our MOPAR stock car around so figured I better step up the tow rig too. Truck died on me the second day I drove it, but the shop has stepped up and is covering everything on their dime to get it running right. Only has 74k on the odometer and wondering if the old couple that had it before me didn't drive it hard enough and messed up some stuff.

Great question! Diesels dont like to be idled a lot so beware especially if you have anything but the 7.3. Clean oil, clean air, clean coolant and good Ford filters are all you need ...but that's just my opinion....and drive it like you stole it! (BTW, I never thought I would be a diesels owner nut now have two!)
