Howdy all!
Just got a 2001 F-250 7.3, it looks pretty stock. Has 182000 & is my first diesel truck. I am looking for advice as to the best mods/ upgrades for optimal performance. Thanks!

Well, not too crazy. I commute around 100 to 120 miles a day round trip and usually have a full load of tools in the bed. I want a mileage boost and power when I need it for the occasional towing and off road fun

If that’s all that youre wanting to do is tow and commute... this is what you need

2. KBDP bellowed up pipes http://alturl.com/9qpeh $200.
3. Plenum inserts http://alturl.com/eppso $51 shipped
4. Fuel bowl reseal Ebay user: racecolo best instructions ever! Dummy proof trust me! https://tinyurl.com/ydxtyro9 $20 shipped
6. HPOP reseal Ebay user: racecolo https://tinyurl.com/ycrzvjee $29 shipped

12. Ww2 dieselsite
13. Rebuild your stock injectors (stay stock). Rosewood diesel (this guys a genius and affordable)
14. Tuned transmission valve body: bts, sam Wyse, dieselsite

Total: lot less than 3k

Your mileage may vary but I highly recommend items above for your lifestyle.

I have seen you post this list before, and it's a good one. I was curious about the upper rad hose and why it's on the list?

It put it on there b/c it’s so cheap. Routes behind the serpentine belt. Just Incase you do any maintenance and need to remove your serpentine belt you won’t lose any coolant.

I’ve never had one break on the road but others had and it was a bitch to change with the coolant hose in the way.

There’s a kit online but it was like $70 and knowing me, I’m cheap so I found a deal with just the hose.
