Our first daughter, Elida Kelani Shields, was born on August 17th, 3:05PM to Le Rae and I.
She weighs 8lb 1.1 oz.
Both mother and baby are doing great, and the baby is perfectly healthy.

She was too big for natural birth so a C section was necessary.

We'll be up here in the hospital until Monday.

Just figured I'd give an update.

My girls are almost 15 and 13, and my son is almost 9.

Teenage daughters can be trying to say the least, but they are also great fun. And while they do bring out the gray in your hair, they also bring out the kid in you.

Enjoy these early years. They go by way too quickly!
