Hello MidWest PSNers!
Ive been using this site as an awesome resource since I bought my 04 6.0 F350 Lariat FX4 Betty White last summer. Ive been wanting a diesel for years now and an old lady ilegally pulling out in front(i t-boned her pacifica doing 45-50) of my 06 hemi qc 4x4 (Black Betty) made the dream(or as I soon found out, Nightmare) come true haha Kids were at Grandmas and everyone involved was relatively fine. I had airbag burns and sprained back and wife had a sprained ankle but couldve been far worse.
Anyways, bought an 04 PSD with zero rust and 170k from Florida. She was stock but that lasted all of a week. Had lots of problems at first as anticipated but I knew what I was getting into. With the Dodge written off for more than enough to cover my PSD, and my knowledge gained from here and other sources, I put some of what was left over into necessary upgrades. Blue Spring, egr delete, updated oil cooler, FICM, icp, water pump, turbo rebuild with WickedW2, 6.4 banjos, zoodad, fuel filters, alternator, batteries etc. Once I had her stable and I was confident she was, I guess, Knife proof? No studs so not "bullet proof". I then started with some simple mods. 3" leveling kit, '10 18" wheels and Conti's with 2" spaers, 4" straight tbe w/6" tip, wicked wheel 2(love it btw, my fav mod), 6.4 trans pan w/internal filter, removed old man bars, ebay $100 c/f look grill(took apart and painted frame part Oxford white to match), debadged/destickered, then International badged fenders and tailgate, led interior replacement lights, removed front bumper valence, Spyder headlights and a lot better bulbs(led halos blow btw, wish I went ccfl). I (obviously) like her stance and cleaner, updated look.

Then I got my hands on an SCT X4 and a kick ass custom tune from Quick Tricks (Looney_PCT) and thats pretty much where I'm at now. Lots more to come!!! And thanks for all the help/advice you all didnt know you gave me! She sounds amazing at just over 4k rpm and 33psi as Im sure most of you know!

If anyone has questions or needs help with anything, Ive done everything in my driveway except some of the harder engine work.
Next is painted mirrors and handles...
