Welcome.. Where are you from? To start off the search button is your partner so much info here. But the chip, sct with custom tunes from any of our vendors. Exhaust it's all up to you a pipe is a pipe I got my 5in for 300 or you could just cut your cat and muffler and put in a pipe in there spot there is no real power gain just lower egt's and sound. Keep your stock intake until you heavily mod the truck it does an awesome job. Also I would recommend getting a coolant filtration bypass system and egr delete that would be a great start to the truck. Look around and you'll find hundred more little tweekers you can do to the rig. Hope this helps!

I'd start with custom tune and exhaust. That'll give you the most performance and mileage increase to start. If you need a new air filter or you like the turbo sound, you can go with an intake. Most of our customers choose to do a tuner, intake, and exhaust package.

If there is anything we can help you out with, please call or email.

Thanks!

like they both said. with any truck before major emissions thats usually the start.

but with a 6.0 i'd look into either a egr delete or a bulletproof egr. that and maybe headstuds if you plan on going for more than a tuner and exhaust

Ok while everything mentioned here is great, the fact of the matter here is you bought an 7-8 year old truck and there is no telling what maintenance condition you purchased it in. I recommend you start with the following:
1. Read, Read, and Read some more. A LOT more.
2. Change the oil, transmission fluid, and flush the coolant and use Motorcraft filters and look at installing a coolant filter and use a good ELC coolant and not that ford gold crap.
3. Get gauges or monitoring device. You need to be focused first and foremost with your engine oil and engine coolant temps. (EOT and ECT) and you need to be looking for less than 15*F difference in temps. I say to start monitoring your motor so you can see what the current health of it is and how modifying things change these parameters.

Once all of this is done then you can start looking at power adders and what have you. JMO

what he said ^^^^^ thats good info to start. after that you can get a tuner and exhaust and go with an sct. as for the exhaust its all up to you. save your money on the intake. until your over 500 hp they wont do anything other than look good under the hood. get a coolant filter and use 5w-40 for the oil. you have to keep the maintainace up on these trucks. change the fuel filters even if they said they have been changed already. these trucks arent bad at all people just never took care of them and they would crap out on them. they arent like the 7.3 where you change the oil and go, on these you have to change the coolant, change filters all the time ie fuel filters every 25k, oil every 5k, tranny every 25-30k coolant i think is 25k but might be 50k unless you use ELC or cat coolant along with a coolant filter then you dont have to change as much. as for the egr watch your EOT (engine oil temp) and your ECT (engine coolant temp) if they are below 15* spread then just leave it alone. the stock cooler 9 times outta 10 wont go unless the oil cooler is clogged. after that id say get a bullet egr cooler so that you dont have to worry about someone not giving you an inspection.
