Just picked up a new coolant resevoir. Mine was cracked. Should be a pretty simple unbolt and unclamp old one throw the new one on and pour in some coolant. Am I right? Any input would be helpful. Thanks.
that sounds rights...just did mine. If you are not gonna change the coolant use vise grips to pinch the lower resevoir hose before you remove it ( not too tight) so you loose minimal amount of coolant = less clean up.
I put a bucket under the radiator and loosen the valve there and it will drain the tank with no mess. Pull the hoses and the two 8mm bolts and its out.
