Use a big pair of channel locks to get it off. Then go buy a ford lid and start using decent quality fuel filters.

Had the same thing happen to me last time i changed.

Took channel locks, vise grips and lots of cuss words.

It should come off

Might try an oil filter wrench around the outside edge.

Flat head screwdriver and a hammer to get it loose enough to use your hand.

Just another reason why I hate the 7.3 fuel bowl. Delete it!

:whs: I have good experience with the hammer and screwdriver method, I hate cheap filters. That's why we only use factory fuel filters.
