Now that I have your attention...
Anybody ever find a Super Duty (99-07) that didnt have a clutch safety switch installed if the vehicle originally came with an automatic? Im converting one I have from an auto to a manual and CANNOT find the dang clutch safety switch pigtail. I've done 3 of these so far and every other truck had the safety switch harness there with a dummy plug in it.

I've done everything but take the entire dash out to look for it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Jeremy

I'm looking for the same thing..I've read somewhere on one of the forums that someone found a dummy plug for the switch pigtail but I can't find it in my truck either..I have a 2006 f250 originally with the 5r..I did find a mess of wires that were terminated and capped under the dash but think they are for a PTO..

Not trying to hijack your thread but im lookin for same thing

All the others Ive done had a pigtail up near the driver kickpanel. Its a grey plug that has a dummy plug snapped into it. They may be secured the the left inner cab or up behind the dash to the firewall. I think the truck I'm doing now has it pinned behind the a/c ducting. I'm not pulling the entire dash and hvac stuff to find it. Truck is together and running fine without it. Downside is no clutch pedal pushed in required to start and cruise control wont disengage with pushing the clutch.

Yes. I run the auto pcm. My trucks normally work like factory. Cruise, clutch safety switch, electric shift transfer case etc.
