Text me a picture so we can both make the decision. That way if it fails you can blame me!

BTW @Blue-Truck-Nut97 should recognize the distributer o the right. Came out of a 79 360

i also have to get a FE oil pump drive rod to run the Melling high volume pump because the points distributor is smaller than the EFI distributor.
Careful make sure the drive rod for the fe is the same thickness/size ad the efi.
I ran into that when building the boss 302 in my 56 ford.
the shafts were larger on the fe, and didn't fit in the pump

Funny you should say that. I'm standing here looking at one.

I find it kinda strange that it takes an FE pump drive to run the high output pump, those shafts weren't very tough.

This one is electronic. You need to tell me if your system is 3 pin or 4 pin so I can build you the hei conversion and get rid of that box on the fender

The fe shaft is longer than the roller shaft. The points distributor is shorter than the efi roller distributor.
If you use an efi roller shaft with a points distributor, the shaft just barely fits in the bottom of the distributor and will pop out at high rpm's causing no oil pressure.
The fe shaft is supposed to be the same length as the 351, but stronger and easier to cut to proper length

Wow Charlie... you're more cantankerous than your picture would suggest ;). I'll have to remember your bolt trick for the bed bolts for when it is time to pull mine.

Off to a late start. Might post in the rants thread, might just pick on Tom.
Picking on Tom is more fulfilling.

Got the cab off the mounts. Forgot it had a mechanical speedo cable, ripped the end off it because the bit** wouldn't come. Guess thats a trip to the junk yard if I go e4od.

Pulled the frame over and lined up. Tomorrow will pull the door and use the long forks on the skid steer to set it in place.
That color is starting to get to me. I may paint the truck that color.would be different.

Question
What are the marks on the bed?
Far as I know this truck is original never been apart, 75,000 mile survivor until the hillbilly got ahold of it.
Maybe Tom can ask Number Dummy on one of the sites I'm banned from?

Looking like a truck again

Sits exactly 7' tall right now without drive train and front clip. I expect it to come down some, but not a bunch
