now i know the meter is never accurate and have had a chance to hand calculate but it cant be that far off right? it was halfway through a 100km trip with cruise set at 105km on flat ground

Man yall are lucky, mine wont come off 11 mpg. But we may have different trucks also.

If u reset it goin down hill it'll always be high as hell, gotta give it time tho it wont stay there long unless u keep reset'n it-

Mine actually usually reads LOW hehehehe... At least almost always, I've caught it being optimistic a time or two, but it's always hand calculated anyway. Just seems funny that mine seems to act different from almost everyone else I've talked to !

i just find it weird, everyone says they get 11 or 15 or even as high as 20 but my lie o meter says 26, im sure its off but not by 10 mpg!

Yeah hand calculate and see. Mine has read 90mpg before after resetting it. Fill it up, drive half a tank and fill it up again, then hand calculate and see what you get.

If you have an android, FuelLog is a good app for manually calculating mpg. Its great for tracking expenses too
