nothing is wrong with it and it spools up great. I am just looking for more power.
jat 99 made 490hp with the same setup so If I could get close to that I would be happy.

What does yours dyno at now? Mine laid down 443 with my current set-up about a month ago. And I just got back from live tuning with Jody this past weekend, which made a huge difference in power. I'd be willing to bet I'm pushing upwards of 460-470 now.

I have no clue I am guessing 400hp. When Kainers had the same setup as me he made 410hp iirc.

Jat99 also has the same setup as me but has a modded h2e and a fuel system
he made 490hp

get it dynoed. .. that's the only way to know you're not making 490hp that truck does have some weight and pretty steep gearing, it would really be hard to tell. Is your truck smokey when you're on it? (maybe you could give us a video of you accelerating so we can see the smoke :poke: just razzin ya). if you're smoke is relatively controllable and you're egt's aren't way high, then a turbo's not gonna do a whole lot for ya. You either need more fuel from your tuning, or bigger sticks.

In all of the settings I have no smoke at WOT. But if I accelerate fast from a stop it will smoke a lot until the turbo is spooled up. Or if I lug it, it smokes like crazy. I can also hit 1500 degrees pretty quickly in the 120+ settings.

I also still have a stock fuel system so I have no idea how much fuel psi I am losing

Just out of curiosity Andrew, whats wrong with your QSSB? I was under the impression that it was a great turbo. I'm running GT-38R, which is smaller than the qssb, and it seems to handle the mini me's okay.
TRy the H2e sometime.:D

Neither of those is even remotely large enough for a first stage compressor.

And as Jeremy said, the QSSB would make a nice second stage.

Andrew if you add big oil you will get the performance and spool up I think you are looking for. A fuel system like FASS or AirDog will be worth something then. I am still only running the stock lift fuel pump and my fuel pressure holds at 65 until I get over 3500 icp. Then it falls off and fuel pressure goes to around 58 or maybe even 55 lbs. As long as my foot is not on the floor I still have 65 lbs fuel pressure. I will be getting an AirDog soon. Perhaps put it on myself in the barn. Not sure.
