+1....but you will like your mini's..... they are very streetable when daily driving...but will still kick some ass when you need them to.

My check engine light is on now though, can't really figure out why. The diagnostic tool won't pick up any codes? How could the check engine light be on but have no codes?

I unhooked the batteries to maybe reset it, but the lights still kicks on. I might have to talke it to the stealership in the morning and see if they can track it down with their diagnostic tools.

Hopefully the idm isn't fried or something...

Found the problem, #7 injector (rear passenger) must've come unplugged when I was slipping the valve cover back in there. :badidea:

I'm just gonna go put it back together now...

excuse my ignorance here, i've been wondering, how do they compare to true 530 B codes? Smaller or larger CC flow, and they're hybrids right?

don't have them, but i believe they are less flow (depending on nozzle) and they are hybrids - lower injection pressure as well i think.

Yes, they are hybrids, 235cc I believe, true 530 B-codes are bigger. When I built the engine I had every intention of putting B-codes in, but I got these for an unbelievable price that I couldn't say no too. Plus, I think they are a little better suited for a daily driver.

I've been out driving and it's unreal! I can't believe the power increase, shes running smooth, idles clean, everything seems to be good. Well, except for my fuel pressure that drops to 20 psi at wide open throttle.

So there is still some performance in it, I just need to get my fuel system finished up. I've still got the .84 housing on the turbo as well, so that needs to be changed out asap.

Yeah, I still plan on doing the BWD compund kit, but that'll be a little farther down the road. I think they're running the .84 on the kit right now.

IIRC B codes are 250cc, mini me's are 238cc.

Mini me's are also hybrids with a 6:1 injection ratio. Injection Ratio of B codes I'm not sure of.

i actually think mini mes are 5:1, ADs are 7:1 and BDs are 6:1. reverse hybrids are 8:1 i believe. i could be very wrong, but i could swear i've read that before :shrug:.
