I have an 02 F-350 with Manual locking hubs. There on there way out and I'm debating whether I should go with some Warn premium hubs or try to convert it to automatic. When I bought the truck I really wanted manual locking but the more I 4x4, and drive, the more I wish I had the novalty of automatic hubs.
Any insight is greatly appreciated
I have a Manual T-case to. If it makes a difference

Keep the manual T case, it's alot more reliable & easier to work on. Just up grade to a good set of Warn, Milemarker, or Superwinch lock out hubs. Just one less thing to go wrong & you don't have to be moving to engage it.

yea but youd have to install the vaccum and lines for the auto hubs. Not sure how it would work with a manual T-case. Probably have to install another switch into the cab somewhere for the vaccum.

i actually dislike my ESOF and have disabled so to speak my auto hubs and replcaed with warn standard Hubs. I like them, easy to maintain, install, and take apart. If you had been on TDS about seven months ago you coulda bought my auto hubs from me when i had them for sale. I let em go cheap. like 150 cheap.

You can't really go wrong with a set of Warn premiums. I think they have a good warrenty as well.

Don't forget with those you have to be rolling to engage them. Kinda hard when your stopped at a light.

stick with maual hubs, have replaced too many autos with manuals to be convinced otherwise

I know alot of the OBS were convered back to manual just due to the amount of problems they had with them.
