Well, I'm torn. I'm really tired of how my truck rides as well as how it holds the road. I also have come to realize it is gonna be a PITA (and expensive) to lower it down, change gears, steering, tires and everything else. So what about if I swapped my front springs for 4.5" DR hangers and 4" DR springs and swapped the rears for 4" springs and a 6" block? I would also go to single DR shocks in the front instead of duals to soften it a bit.

I've heard this combo works really well on the road.

I love the way the truck currently looks, but not the way it rides.

I just can't imagine lowering the truck down. Then it may ride nicer....but it sure wouldn't look the same. I have heard nothing but good things about DR lifts, but it would suck to change that out and have it ride the same as before.

It might be best to get rid of the dual shocks and get the DR shocks. That might be all you need.

Well, I'm running the DR signatures all the way around now....but duals up front.

On axle wrap..my RCD bars seem to help on that.

I hear you on the ride, though. Mine is extremely stiff. I'm going to put some Bilsteins on it (keeping the duals up front) and see if that helps some. Lowering it is not an option. I don't want to do it, and price is definitely a factor.

Stock is for grandpa's and little girls...

Personally, if I was going to redo a suspension on my 01 (which I may ) I would go with the Full Traction coilover conversion and either DR Zoo-Roads or Kings.
Ironically, if I do go that route.....I'll have the hangers and Deaver springs that are currently on my truck for sale, which is what you would need.

i now have everything i need to come back down to factory, minus springs. so far the total is right at 175. since i cant find anyone that wants to get rid of factory springs cheap, i geuss i HAVE to buy some springs from DR. all in all, didnt cost much at all.
