Pulling a lot of codes after truck sat 8 months while deployed (wife ran it bimonthly for first 4 months but then it wouldn't start- turned out to be battery which I just got a good charge on and haven't yet changed tho it needs it)

In addition to all those codes I'm getting 11-12 hand calculated mpg when I used to get 16-17.

Parking brake light also stays on constantly

Last week when I started truck and pulled out of parking lot, check engine light came on and throttle gave no response, truck just kept idling. I turned off and on and it drove home fine no problems since

I agree..low battery will kick all kinds of codes.
i would also check brakes ..and regrease caliper pins..they will stick and cause drag.
check turbo uppipes for soot aka leaks...lube brake cable..
jiggle pin and spring ontop of the ebrake see if light goes out.
are you low on brake fluid at all

Pull the e-brake release and lift up on the pedal as the spring may be weak and if the pedal is down just one click the light will come on. If not unplug the switch on the ebrake and see if it goes out. If it does either get a new switch or just leave it unplugged.
