I just traded for my 05 F250, I test drove the truck 3 times before i bought it. I finalized the paper work and drove it home (30 minutes). I got home and decided to go back out to get something to eat. On my way from Mickey D's it started acting speratic and would not go at the stop light. It still was running but barely. It finally deside to go but running bad. I got it back home called the dealer and told him he better do something to get thsi resolved. He showed up 30 minutes later with a loaner. We decided to try and get it to a Ford dealer 6 minutes away. I got in it fired up and ran perfect all the way. It is sitting at a ford dealer now waiting to be worked on. Im new to Deisels as far as owning one and would like some insight on what you all think is the problem. It's former owner installed the Six Gun and exhaust. Thats all I know of it. Any help would be appreciated.

Just got a call from the service tech at the Ford dealer. He stated he let it runall day Saturday and drove it twice, nothing happened. Today he let it run and drove it, put it on the machine and still nothing. There was a TSB on it for some ECU upgrade, he said he was going to install it but other than that the truck is fine. Could it have been a fluke incident or am I looking at something lurking in my future?

The thing is, it is a 2005 truck. It should have NO issues at all. If they sold it to you, they should have made sure that it was like new (or as close as they can get), if not, that's their problem.
