ok where do i drill it at? i saw a thread on here saying to put it in the driver manifold near the wheel well. however doesn't that only measure one bank, (not to correct anyone). is it ok to put it there? or is there a good place to put it to to measure both banks?

thanks in advance :bowfast:

both banks should run relatively the same temp..... if ur worried about monitoring both banks of cylinders you need to put in 2 pyro gauges..... i tow heavy, tuned all the time and havent had any problem with monitoring just the drivers side...

One thing that has been handy for me is to monitor pre-turbo on one bank, then post-turbo where it catches both banks. When I had an UVC harness problem (and losing my whole right bank), I could see from EGTs that my overall post-turbo temperature was slightly low for the speed I was going, while my left bank pre-turbo was showing significantly high for the speed. I was able to figure out that my right bank of injectors were not firing.
