Is it safe to drive around all the time with my hubs locked or will it damage my transfer case or diff?both my hub locks are busted. One won't unlock and the other won't lock (vaccum system bypassed) so I'm thinking about welding the locks so they will just be locked all the time if it won't damage anything. I would rebuild them but I couldn't figure out how to get them apart. Any help in this matter?

It doesnt bother the transfer case but it does put wear and tear on the front ujoints. Most people that live up north lock their hubs in the fall and unlock them in the spring so its not a big deal to leave them locked. It does hurt your mpg some.
