i just got a build sheet on my truck and it says that my truck has a limited slip diff. in the rear.but recentley i was stuck on some ice and only one tire would spin.isnt the other tire suppose to kick in and start spinning too?or am i wrong to assume this.

If you jack up the rear end and turn one wheel, the opposite wheel should turn in the same direction also.

You could always change out the internals or swap axles.

the factory limited slips don't last forever. if there are more than 60K miles on the clutches then they should get changed. but personally i would just get the geared limited slip and be done with it.
