I need some help on replacing my license plate lightbulbs on my '96 F-350. It's a bit rusted, and before I try takin it apart and breaking something, I figured I'd try to get the right way to actually do it.

Any help on how to properly replace them would be greatly appreciated!

there should be a little indention on the outside of the light casing where you could fit a flat head screwdriver under it. i used my key to get them off just yesterday. stick it under there and give it a little twist. it will pull up out of the hole. there will be a piece you will have to push in to get it fully out of the hole. twist the wire/light assembly from the socket and replace the bulbs.

Ok, I managed to get the housing out, but what exactly do I pull apart to get to where I put the bulb in? It's all so rusted I can't see any seams to yank at.

theres a plug behind the lights twist it and pull it out the bulb them pulls out of the socket, its a 194 bulb i believe. then push a new one in then push the socket in the hole in the bumper and twist it back in.
