Leveled my 2wd OBS

After reading as many threads as I could about leveling a 2wd Powerstroke (not a whole lot out there) I finally took on the job myself. I went with the coil spring spacers from summit that mount on top of the coil.

Pretty simple job, took me about 2.5 hours with mounting the 4 tires (Perks of being a mechanic!), the first 45 minutes of that was cussing and screaming trying to get the spring to sit straight while on the phone.

I went with 285/75/16 Hankook Dynapro MT's after running their Dynapro ATM's on my Jeep YJ and Chevy S10 and having such good luck with them. I still had to trim a little inside corner of the bumper on both sides and I hit frame at full lock so I may run a .5 inch spacer up front then but a 2.5 inch in the rear to even the track width.

Sorry for the crappy night pics but it gets so dark so early! I'll get some better pictures in the morning.

Looks like the ass end is squatting now, not level.
Must be the hill. The back sits at 36.5 and the front is 36.25 on level ground.
What part number did you order from summit?? Very interested in doing this. Thanks for being the test guy! True that there are very few threads out there...

You'll need 2 of them as they are sold individually.

Everyone says you don't need a spring compressor but I found it was easiest to compress the spring as well as remove the shock bolt. It was much easier trying to get everything lined up and don't be afraid to use the BFH. Little hammer won't cut it.
Can you post some pics of the coils with the spacer so I can see how it works
Yes please post some pics of the spacer on the spring
