2008 super duty with 6.4; if I found a junkyard dpf and hollowed it out, could I successfully use that in place of my stock dpf? I've got an Edge CTS tuner, but it doesn't have any deletes.
Probably not without a tuner, since the regeneration works based on differences in pressures before and after the filter.. so to hollow one out would probably put the truck in safety limp without a tune..
Yeah if it even runs, only real option there is to put a tuner on, never heard of anyone doing it without.
