Whew! Thank God I'm 5'4"if you are 20 years old and 3 foot tall it is easy. if you are 6 foot tall and 60, you better get a 1 pound tub of ben gay, 10 gallons of Jack Danials, 3000 large band aids, and earmuffs for everyone in a two miles radius to muffle the cussin you about to do.
Yes, and I have some 100% silicon grease just for O-rings. My last one that went south was a sealed-in-the-bag Motorcraft.Jax, on the IPR oring issues, are you making sure you get lube all the way around and underneath that oring before you install? I much prefer grease to oil on an oring for that reason.
I have quite a few lights on the dash that are out. Even have the codes for them. The clutch safety switch is new, but it made no difference.Random thought on the cruise, have you checked the switch on the parking brake? The one that is supposed to turn the light on in the dash when the park brake is applied. ( Maybe that light being inop. could cause it too?) It should have a clutch switch also, could be related to your pedal disaster, but I doubt it since it was starting.
