1970somthing... Don't believe everything you see :). I have never trusted a fuel mileage calculation done by a PCM.

BTW, I cannot attest to the instantaneous mpg, but the others match my guages & calculations.

No way, not possible.
Unless it's P-pumped then it'll get 50 mpg at 75mph uphill with a head wind all day.

Ive literally had a Cummins boi try to tell me his 6.7 could pull a big backhoe at 80 and still get 24 mpg.

My service truck is a 2020 Kenworth with a 6.7 cummins, weighs 24,440 and gets 8 to 10 mpg. Just sayin.

Oh, I don’t doubt it a bit, and that is actually fairly impressive. I’m a big fan of the Cummins. To be honest I’d rather have a 5.9 Cummins than any power stroke. But I’ll poke fun at anyone who makes ludicrous claims about any engine.

I know what you were saying, and at 24,440 I should be getting 24mpg also. That's about what a pickup, trailer and back hoe will weigh. So I was just giving you real data for the next cummininhisjeans azzhole

I just laugh at them and say something like, “go on! Pull the other one!”

I cannot complain about 10mph er, MPG! , average. The hills are a biotch and was definitely fighting a head wind. Happy with how the trailer towed, and how the Beast dragged it. No 18-wheelers were slowed by this RV in the passing lane! 😁

Been a life long Cummins guy, third generation actually, don't care for dodges much, however since accidentally buying a Powerstroke I've found the Powerstroke community to be far more enjoyable. Far less bs. Well, different bs, the fun kind.

I really hope you mean 10 mpg average....lol
Glad you are having success. Hopefully you can just drive it and enjoy it for a while. Don't get run over by a CA knucklehead down there.

Can't tell if your serious or joking about a truck trailer and a backhoe weighing 24k

I got 6-8 mpg when I hauled my parts bucket truck home in my 6.0, 28800# total

If any cummings guy gives you trouble, ask about injection pressure

The backhoe was probably a small one. I got 11 MPG when I pulled the forklift (the forklift weighed in at 13500#) I purchased home. Gross weight was 27400#.
