I am seeing torque specs from 18 ft-lb to 24 ft-lb. smh

Book says 18ft-lb / 24Nm.

Finally got that stuck biotch apart. The O-rings are squared off. . . . I wonder if they are original?

Looks a LOT better than the Beast's oil cooler. Passages for water are clear, and I don't find anything in the oil area. A good cleanup tomorrow - after it has all night to drain, pissy little monster. Then put it together and back in the truck.
Gave it all night to drain and it still pissed all over.

I don't know why I changed the seals. Crack half way through doesn't mean it's broken!

I tried to cut the inside (green) seals off but the gasket was too hard for the utility knife. Fortunately, they broke off when I used a screwdriver. Hard as a rock!

Now to mount it back.

Question - the Pig has gold antifreeze. I see corrosion around the openings. Is that worrisome?

Dang thing went back in so easily, now I'm worrying myself to death wondering what I did wrong! Took only 30 minutes including the antifreeze and remounting the wheel.

But darn it, the ABS sensor is here. One more thing to do . . . .

ABS sensor in. Can't even test it until the PCMs come back. Sigh.

Might as well take a nap.

Stupid Commiefornia storm is keeping up a steady rain, and my PCMs are supposed to be in today. I won't even be able to install them given this mess.

PCMs came in, and after I installed the Beast's, I got the Pig's in.

Crank, no start. Crank, no start. Crank, no start.

How freaking long does it take to fill an oil cooler!

In between, while letting the starter cool, I was adding oil and water to the coolant.

Fourth try, she fired like nothing had ever happened. Need to wash both engines but I don't think they are leaking.

Still throwing the C1145 Front Right ABS sensor code, though. I guess I get to play chase the wiring.

Oh, yeah. Note to self. Make sure your foot is all the way off the throttle before clicking "OK" on the KOEO tests.
