Body modules - as in the GEM?

I don't think so. It's just one item. I need run forscan, again.

Now to analyze the circuits and see which wire would short them both to ground.

And of course, it is under the dash, above the air bag diagnostic module. A bk/wh comes out of the gem and heads to a splice, and then splits. How freaking wonderful.

ahhhh. you did not say rear door. they are known for the trigger wire breaking and shorting out inside the door loom between door and B pillar.
Both? So I should track the wiring from front door through middle pillar to inside rear door?

Did not take the cover off the center piller, between the front and rear door, but did remove the rear door cover (because maintenance. Lock and window dragged. Now clean and lubed.)

I did not see anything wrong with the wire bundle. Can you be more specific?

sorry, still a little under the weather and sleeping way too much.
if you can access the wires in the "accordion" wire looms between the door and pillar that is where they usually break.
i just don't remember what color wire to test.

Black with white streak. And the wires look really good. At $14 per switch, I am going to replace the two rear doors, as I have to take them apart and clean & lube them anyway. I suspect, though, the short is somewhere up front. 😪

No such thing! But it is important to start pushing yourself - walking short trips, often.

Feel better soon!

Just purchased some LED lights for the doors. And new red lens reflectors. I need them on both trucks.

so 16-20 hours sleep per day is ok? i get by on 6-7 usually.
and i am doing plenty of short trips. the bathroom is 20 foot away downstairs, and if i am upstairs it is almost 45 foot away.
that means i am walking/stumbling between 40 and 90 foot every 2-3 hours!!! 😁

Of course 16-20 is okay, when you are getting over a severe illness.
Now start walking around your house every 2-3 hours. ;)

Go big on fruits and veggies!
