Whats up, guys. My 08 F250 has been good to me. Until today. I got a check engine light, a green wrench and the DIC says the truck is in "reduced power mode". So I take it to the dealer. This truck has never seen more than 4k without an oil change. Fuel filters done on time. Always maintained. By the book or better. So @ 150,000 miles it needs an EGR, an oil cooler, and the DPF is shot. $5600.00 to repair it. Can any of the Guru's here chime in? I saw the computer readouts...something about temp differences between oil and coolant? EGR operating at 3 percent capacity and can't move? Can someone explain some of this? I'm pretty pissed. My 6 litre went almost 300k. Wasn't problem free, but this seems ridiculous, honestly.

:whs: Exactly those parts will do more to shorten life span of your truck than anything.
