Iraqi Rant

I'm not political. I need not get on a soap box, we all have our own views on the subject of the Iraq war. BUT since my one and only Brother has become the 3875th casualty of this Bull$hit conflict. I figure I would offer my view as it has effected me and thousands like me personally!!!!!

Let me first state that I HATE MY GOVERNMENT!!!!!!!!..WITH A PASSION!!
but.......I LOVE MY COUNTRY, AND THOSE WHO PUT THEIR LIVES ON THE LINE EVERYDAY OVER THERE!!!!!!!!!!!

My Brother, Sgt. J. Kubis is a scout sniper for the Marine Corp. Over the weekend he suffered an injury due to an IED. It is only by the grace of GOD he is alive today. He has completed over 250 missions over there and I guess the odds caught up to him. He is one of many young men and women who fight for their country, a country controlled by special interests and easily bought policies!! A time is coming, and I hope soon, that the special interests will include the men and women who provide our freedom with their blood!!!!!!!
Jerry if your fortunate enough to read this over there. I Love you, AND We can't wait to see you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God bless the Armed Forces!!!!!!!!!

Rant over!!

Jerry...THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE...GET WELL SOON!

Jason...VERY HAPPY to read that Jerry is still alive! Hang in there, you'll see him soon!

I generally don't get involved in political discussion in public forums, but I will say that until we (and by we I mean "Voting American Citizens") stop voting straight party lines and stop letting only 1 or 2 issues decide who gets our vote...we're going to continue to suffer with "bought and paid for" politicians. I'm registered as an "independent" and have been for years because the BS of the far right and the far left disgusts me. Finding common middle ground and compromise is the only way disputes over any issue ever get solved.

It's about time our government got back to the job of governing OUR COUNTRY as their top priority. We need people running the country that really want to find ways to bring companies and jobs back. The mass migration of manufacturing to countries that barely pay their slaves for making the products we use has been good for reducing the price of the products we purchase, at the cost of thousands of American jobs. Even Walmart is having problems because people are starting to want better quality at a somewhat higher price. Bring back the "mom and pop" stores that sell American products and feed America families, I couldn't care less if Sam Walton makes another dime!

TERM LIMITS!!! Say it with me now...TERM LIMITS!!! TERM LIMITS!!! TERM LIMITS!!! TERM LIMITS!!! TERM LIMITS!!! TERM LIMITS!!! TERM LIMITS!!! TERM LIMITS!!! TERM LIMITS!!! TERM LIMITS!!! TERM LIMITS!!! TERM LIMITS!!!

It's about time we started forcing some of the politicians that have been there forever to step aside. Lets vote in some newer and younger people to run the country! We need fresh ideas, new approaches and most of all...politicians that are not already in some PACs pocket!

Sorry Jason...didn't mean to hijack your thread...your comments just got me stirred up! Wish your brother a speedy recovery for all of us and let us know when he comes home!

He is alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is in Saudi Arabia at a Hospital.
Good to hear your brother is doing better! Ever though we are not in the same service we are both brothers in arms to the same great country. Now get yourself better and enjoy yourself at home this holiday season.

This war is ####ing retarded.

Thankfully your brother lived and I thank him for making a huge sacrifice in the name of our country.

I'm sorry so many have died and been maimed for what amounts to a pointless conflict.

As Kerry said "I support the warriors, but not the war."

My brother went to Iraq three times, two by request. He understands that the fight has to waged, either there or here. Sorry to hear about your brother. I'm glad to hear he is doing better. This is a war about alot of different things and yes oil is one of them. I'm just glad we have someone in the white house that isn't afraid to make decisions based on what he thinks is right and not what the polls say.

I really am not sure where I stand on the war. Part of me says, if we did not deal with this problem now and over there, we would deal with it in ten years over here. The other part of me says we should have waited and said "Bring it on over here, we have never been and will never be beaten on our home court.

Either way, our Commander in Chief says we are going to do it. So let's "Git 'er Done".

I pray for our guys every night, and appreciate the job that they do. Without them we would not be able to be who we are.
