It looks like I'm in the right place to learn some things about my 6.0 F250. I recently inherited a 2004 XLT 4X4 and all the nuances that come with it. My initiation was a crank/no start after an eventless 50 mile trip and no problems in the previous 10 months. It ended up being the FICM and Ed at FICMrepair.com got me going again. Now #1 injector isn't making it's fair contribution. It might even be safe to say it's making no contribution since there is a noticeable miss and power is diminished. It doesn't click after the buzz during the injector test either. I put some Archoil 9100 in the crankcase and crossed my fingers in hopes the injector is just sticking and might free up. Anyway, I'm slowly and hesitantly falling in love with my new machine, but parts and maintenance costs scare the crap out of me!! Please don't let this be like owning a boat!
