I'm building a new center console for my 07 F350 Lariat, and was wondering if anyone knew what wood the OEM plastic trim is supposed to be? I'd like to try and match it with real wood laminate if I can identify what it is.

I think Ford calls it Burlwood

There are different kinds of burl wood though.

i think the grain is straight from the '05's to the '07's.

mine is an '04 and the burlewood is swirley.

The couple I have seen looks like some grainy maple, definetly NOT burly maple. Although if you could find some, it would look sweet.
