Do you need an EGR delete to run the aftermarket intake elbows or can you just use those slotted plates. Looking into doing the intercooler pipe with intake elbow but not sure I want to do all that work to pull off the EGR incase it ever needs to be put back.

Yes, because the elbow removes the location that the top EGR cooler bolts to and feeds into the intake. We did have a customer bolt the blocker plate onto the end of the cooler so he could install the adaptor and elbow prior to the full EGR cooler delete. It worked I would leave it that way as that end of the cooler has no support.

I strongly recomend doing the entire delete and get the coolers out of the truck. It really isnt that bad to do the egr delete if you take your time and dont have to rush to get it done.

Look into one of Seans kits or one of RCD's. Both high quality product.
