does anyone know anything about the industrial injection 7.3 turbo?
They say it is close in specs to the garret bb but stronger. I am curious because i am looking for a decent upgrade to banks (wheel and exhaust housing).
Any info would be helpful

yea it is a journal bearing turbo

Damn... that place is a rip-off... $1650 for the turbo... Plus they want your old turbo (for what??? So they can rebuild it and stick it on Ebay for another $600) and then on top of that... They charge you for the intake tube??? HA, I feel for the poor SOB that buys that turbo...

No, it's not a good towing turbo, as far as I'm concerned.

Check out the threads that have recently been started here on that subject. Lots of reading, enough info for you to decide whether you like it or not.

There were some posts by Luke about a 71mm/K31 hybrid a couple weeks back. Luke said it is not a decent towing turbo. It surges quite a bit under load. Bean is has a new wheel in testing that us supposed to get rid of the surge. If you want a tow turbo that will mount to a hypermax kit get a modded H2E from Beans. It tows like a dream, I love mine......

Well at least it's "stronger" than the 38R cause those things just can't take anything....

LOL

If you're gonna spend your money on a turbo, at least have something worth having when you're done.
