Will be good to run the scanner to assist in isolating the problem. In respect to Glow Plugs, for many years I have ran White Rogers (Stancor) glow plug relays on my current 7.3s. Way more robust than the stock FMCo ones. Stockers last about 16 months for me, after White Rogers (Stancor) never have replaced on 4 trucks over the years. I live in a cooler (winter climate) interior of B.C. Canada, so the GP system gets used a bunch.

Also ran the android app just kinda for fun. Ran a key on eng off on demand self test and got all this.

Welp, she's not throwing idm codes anymore. Borrowed an idm. Still no luck I've got a few different codes now. Most seems to have to do with low voltage.

Quick question......does anyone have any clue what this relay block is for? Found it hanging and one side unplugged. The other end has an oem cap.

Also getting a p0605 looks like pcm. Wtf is going on lol. It's got a code for the icp also. Gonna check power and grounds.

But I'm getting frustrated, think I need to step away for a bit. Thanks again guys.

If you'd post all the numbers AND each one's COMPLETE definition, we might be able to offer some useful suggestions. It would be even easier if ALL your truck's details were in your signature, to remind us what truck you're talking about.

Based on the few wire colors I can pick out, I'd guess it's the trailer adapter. Always ID wires & connectors by wire color, referring to this page & the NEXT several:

Descriprions are just google searches


P1280 is one of the DTCs of the Ford 7.3L engine. By definition, this error code P1280 means Injection Control Pressure Out Of Range-Low.


The P0475 means that there is something wrong with your exhaust back pressure valve.


The P0605 OBD-II error code indicates a ROM error in the internal control module of the ECM. The ECM controls the important functions in a modern vehicle like: Ignition timing.

Obviously, this doesn't apply to diesels. But I don't have the diesel-specific OBD2 codes for these trucks.

Lol. Good eye. I'm kinda falling apart. Everything I'm reading on it says it's probably due to low voltage, be it weak battery, ground, or a short. Previous owner kinda butchered the wiring on this thing, so I think I'm gonna order a new engine harness and go from there.

Welp, it took a Lil while to get parts in. Here's where we're at now.


New
batteries
Engine wiring harness
Ipr
Icp
Idm
Ecu

I checked all my grounds and connections.

All my codes are gone except
P0605 - pcm memory failure.

Is it possible that my ts performance chip took a **** and had me chasing my tail this whole time, and just took out my second ecu?

I had a Hydra chip start causing check engine lights and killing the motor randomly, once I pulled the chip those stopped

Battery is a Lil low now due to starting attempts. But I feel like I'm making headway.
